The scholastic year of Orientation Program 2014-15
“God gave me brothers”, St. Francis of Assisi
The Holy Trinity Capuchin Province of Karnataka is extremely happy
to have 25 new brother candidates for the Orientation Program this year.
They come from 7 dioceses, all over Karnataka. The inaugural program
took place during the Holy Eucharist on 18th June, 2014 in the presence
of the Provincial Minister Br. Joseph Dolphy Pais at Dayalbagh Ashram,
Ujire. Br. Provincial by lighting the inaugural lamp welcomed the
brother candidates to taste and see the Franciscan Capuchin Way of Life.
Br. Manoj D’ Souza, Director, Orientation Program and the Formation
Staff were present for the Inauguration.
Dayalbagh Ashram is an ideal place to begin a new life. The Eden Garden,
a quiet, secluded place which helps the brothers to find themselves and
focus on their calling. It is a Cradle indeed for the brothers who begin
their new life in the Franciscan Capuchin Family. Here we focus on
learning English language, Liturgical Knowledge, Music, Manual work and
above all being a Prayerful, simple, humble Capuchin Brother. We accept
the candidates as Gifts given by God and help them to find meaning in
their Calling.
We seek your prayers for us especially our younger brothers to persevere
in their Vocation. Please pray for Vocations that the Kingdom of God may
be spread everywhere.
