Karnataka Rajyotsava Celebrated at
St.Francis of Assisi School Chikodi With great pomp, Saint francis of Assisi School, celebrated
Kannada Rajyotsava on 30 Nov. The Lic development officer of Chikodi
kashinath was the chief guest of the day. In his speech he gave a
clarion call to speak kannada wherever and whenever it is possible.
he also spoke of richness of Kannada culture and language.
Along with him on the dias were the Manager of Trinity School Udupi,
Fr.Arun Lobo the chief co-ordinator vimukti chikodi, Fr.Richard
principal of St.Francis of Assisi School and Fr.Jason Fernandes the
new arrival to the St.Francis of Assisi School.
All the dignitories praised kannada and requested to not to become
fanatics of language rather than to cultivate values of kannadigas
and to develop its culture.
School children gave small programme, it was the great success and
all gratitude goes to Satyaraj ,the kannada pandit of the school for
organising wonderful function.
