Birthday Celebrations at Saccidananda
We the community of Saccidananda celebrated the preponed birthday celebration of Br. Crispin Lobo and Fr. Deepak Fernandes on the 27th of April at Saccidananda though their birthday’s fall on the 19th and 25th of May respectively. Since many Fathers will be out during the month of May, the community members felt that we need to celebrate the birthday of both the friars and celebrate it in a grand scale. The Provincial minister during the lunch lauded the services of both the friars, particularly of Br. Crispin for his silent presence and motherly concern for all the friars who come to the provincialate and of Fr. Deepak, Fr. Provincial elaborately expressed the services he renders as the personal secretary of the Provincial Minister, for his patience in attending the calls and doing the correspondences between the Provincial Minister and the Friars of the Province and outside. Then both the friars were called upon to cut the birthday cake followed by the sumptuous lunch.
