Fraternity of Deena Seva Ashram praises God for Sister Water “Praised be to You, my Lord, through Sister Water, which is very
useful and humble and precious and chaste. . .” Water is one of the fundamental elements in everyone’s life. And every
being searches for the a water-source for its existence. And when it does
find the required source it praises God for his goodness manifested through
Creation.
Indeed we too had to search for a source of water for our existence in Deena
Seva Ashram. We did find it and the site where the source of water was
presumed was blessed by Br. Satish Kumar OFM, Cap, the parish priest of St.
Francis of Assisi Chruch Kengeri on 3rd of March 2016. The drilling work
began on the same evening and on the following day we witnessed a good
amount of water gushing out of the bore from a depth of 879 ft. At this very
moment we praised God for the blessing of water through Mother Earth. The 12
HP pump is installed at a depth of 800 ft. and we are overjoyed as water
flowed forcefully out from the 2” pipes just lowered into the bore.
We are grateful to Provincial Minister and his Council along with the
provincial treasurer, for providing us with the necessary budget and praise
God for the blessings of water through mother earth.
