“KALAANJALI” THE CULTURAL ASSOCIATION INAUGURATED AT ST. ANTHONY’S P.U. & DARSHAN COLLEGE
The much awaited Cultural Association was inaugurated at St. Anthony’s Pre-University College and Darshan College on 30th July, 2011 and was christened as ‘Kalaanjali’.
The function began with a prayer after which the dignitaries on the dais lighted the lamp and formally inaugurated the function. Fr. Chetan Lobo, the director spoke on the importance of the Cultural Association in a college and exhorted the students to learn from everything they do in the college.
Then followed a series of cultural entertaining items - songs, dances, etc. The students both of PU and degree put up a splendid show.
Fr. Veerus, the degree principal, Ms. Rashmi, PU principal and the lecturer co-ordinator for Cultural association Ms. Bhavani was present on the dais.
The director thanked the lecturer coordinator for the hard work and promised all help and encouragement.
The student leaders Mr. Ani Aliyas and Ms. Martina proposed vote of thanks. Ms. Therali and Ms. Siddiqa Taranam compered the programme.
