SILVER JUBILEE OF THE
PRIESTLY ORDINATION OF REV. FR. JOSEPH DOLPHY PAIS
Jubilee is a time to blow the trumpet of the marvelous works, that the good
God has done in our life. It was a day of great pomp and joy for the
brothers of Holy Trinity Province, Karnataka, as the Provincial Minister,
Rev Fr. Joseph Dolphy Pais, celebrated his Silver Jubilee of priestly
Ordination on 15th August 2016 at Deena Seva Ashram along with his family,
near and dear ones from far and near. Many Capuchin Priests and Religious
sisters graced the occasion by their presence. It was a special feeling to
be the part of this gracious event.
Solemn Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by the Jubilarian, Rev, Fr
Dolphy Pais at 6:00 pm and a scintillating sermon with great exaltation was
preached by Fr. Anil Sequiera. The key message on this jubilee day was to be
thankful and be grateful for the journey of 25 years in the service of the
vineyard of the Lord. Being the solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed
Virgin Mary, due respect was paid to our Blessed Mother. Just as she carried
Jesus in her womb, every priest is nurtured in the ambience of our Blessed
Mother. Melodious singing by the brothers enhanced the liturgy of the Day.
A short felicitation cum cultural program was organized in the D.S.A Bhavan.
Amidst joy and laughter, the provincial Minister was welcomed to the stage
with showers of flowers. Every brother has his own unique flavor to add in
our life of celebration. The jubilarian filled with jubilation along with
his brothers and sisters took the delight in cutting the beautiful cake and
the host of the day, Fr. Salvador Fernandes raised the toast for the
Jubilarian. The newly married nephew of the Jubilarian, Christopher Pais,
expressed a few words on the charming personality of his Uncle. Thereafter
the newly married couple was felicitated by a garland by the Jubilarian. A
glowing face, adorned with a beautiful smile, Rev Fr. Provincial voiced out
his heartfelt sentiments on achieving this milestone in his life. Brothers
from Darshan Institute of Theology staged a small cultural program and a
wishing song was presented by the FISI community. Last but not the least the
sumptuous dinner was graced by Fr. Patrick Crasta. At the end all departed
with a thankful adieu.
