VOCATION CAMP «Master, where do you stay?" .... Jesus replied "Come and See...". With
the intention of showing forth our Capuchin way of life the vocation camps
for high school students were held in the Province at different venues. In
the diocese of Udupi it was on the 14 & 15th of April at Assisi Nilaya,
Moodubelle under the leadership of Fr. Johnson. For mangalore diocese under
the leadership of Fr. Prashanth on the 15 and 16th of April at Assisi house,
Mangalore, for Karwar diocese at Assisi vihar, Shirwad on 14th and 15th
April under the leadership of Fr. Simon horta and for Bengaluru and Mysuru
diocese on the 19th and 20th under the guidance of Fr. Godwin and Fr Vijay.
The Students of Theology put in their heart and soul to make this camp a
success.
Many students benefited from this camp. The focus of this camp was to create
an interest in the young minds for a capuchin way of life. Therefore they
had a glimpse of the life of St. Francis of Assisi and the Franciscan order.
At the same time various talks and exercises were conducted in order to
enhance their personality, skills and attitudes to life challenges.
