Community Day celebrations at Clara Vihar Pothnal Easter Monday on April 06, 2015 was made special as the day was
celebrated as Thanksgiving Day to close the academic year for 2014-15 and
also as Community day to celebrate the birthday of our dear Guardian Fr. Joe
whose birthday was advanced before brothers go on their annual leave.
The day began with the solemn Eucharistic celebrations with the melodious
harmony of the choir which added to the beauty of the occasion. In the
afternoon we had a short wishing programme, where Fr. Sathish the Vicar of
the house and MC for the occasion, spoke of various qualities that Fr. Joe
possessed and how he made the community complete through his continuous
support and guiding presence.
It was then the turn of all the other Friars and the student representative
to speak on Fr. Guardian and how much he meant to them and the community.
The short programme ended on a sweet note with the cutting of the cake and
wishing song by the brothers followed by a ‘Bade Khana’
